How do I schedule my patient for an X-Ray or Ultrasound?

There are two options to placing an order for Ultrasound or X-ray:
1.    Call in your order and the fax a copy of the required documents.
2.    Sign into your account and the place the order and then fax in a copy of the required documents. 
 
*Very Important: for CMS compliance purposes, we must have an order (hand written or EMR generated) with the PCP name, facility name, patient demographics, diagnosis, and name of the nurse placing the order or we cannot provide the service.

What information is required to place an order for an X-Ray or Ultrasound?

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
1.    Copy of the Face-Sheet / Patient Demographics, Room #, and Bed # (if applicable) 
2.    Copy of the order from the PCP with Diagnosis
3.    Copy of the Prior Authorization if it is required by the insurance.

How will I know when the Technician will be arriving?

After placing your order, you will get an estimated time of arrival (ETA) from our customer service representative.

Question 4

What if I want to schedule for a specific time?

Accepted Answer

If you need to schedule the X-Ray or Ultrasound for a specific time, please let the customer service representative know. They will do their best to accommodate your request within a reasonable (2 hours or less) window.

What if I have a STAT request?

Accepted Answer

If it is a STAT order: we will do our best to accommodate your request within two hours of your phone call.

How long will it take to get my results back?

Accepted Answer

All services and orders that are provided between the general business hours of 9am - 2:00pm will generally get the results back within 4 hours or less of the service being completed. Unless it is a STAT order, it will be treated as a general order and the results will be faxed to your facility within 24 hours or less of the study time.

How long will it take to get a STAT result back?

All STAT services and orders that are provided between regular business hours 9am - 5:30pm will generally get the results back within 2 hours of the service being completed.

How do I access and view patient results?

Step 1:
Sign into your account by clicking the LOG IN button on the top right of this screen. Enter your information:

Step 2:
a.   Click on View Patient Results button.
b.   Your will now be in our PACSstar EMR System Portal:

Then sign in with the User Name and Password given to you by your account manager:

·      Your Password: 1234password
 
Step 3:
a.   You may now search, view, and download patient results

You will always receive results by fax once they are available.
